The High Five Goals:
Your Roosevelt Survival Guide
We treat each other with respect.
Smile at somebody.
Use kind words abundantly.
Give positive encouragement.
We use language appropriate to the school setting.
Swearing is not welcome here.
Instead loving words we want to hear.
A compliment, a piece of advice
When speaking, everyone should think twice.
We respect the school environment.
Always treat this sacred school because it is your own.
There are those who leave their mess like an abandoned war zone.
Be not the one who spat at the open doors,
But instead leave your place spotless, from the ceiling to the floor.
We make instruction time cooperative and productive for all.
Concentration is necessary,
For accomplishing work especially.
Distraction is a mischievous thing.
We must avoid the regression that it may bring.
We stop and think when making choices.
Perhaps the most important of all
Is making a bright choice when life throws us a curve ball.
When faced with the consequences of a bad decision,
Remember that the High Five Goals are your path to cognition.
